(1) There will be an investment board empowered to do the work of promoting investment by mobilizing domestic or foreign resources, building infrastructure and developing service sectors.
(2) The constitution of the board as per sub-section (1) shall be as follows:-
(a) The Prime Minister - the Chairman
(b) Finance Minister -Vice-Chairman
(c) Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supply - Member (d) Minister of Forests and Environment - Member (e) Minister of Power, Water Resources and Irrigation - Member (f) Minister of the Ministry concerned with the project - Member
(g) Vice-Chairman-Member of the National Planning Commission (h) Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank - Member (i) Chief Secretary to the Government of Nepal - Member (j) Three members, including at least one woman, nominated by the Board from among experts in industry, tourism, infrastructure development, commercial law and financial sectors. (k) Chief Executive Officer-Member-Secretary of the Office
